Art isn’t something hanging on a wall in Western North Carolina; it’s something you can feel and touch on the street.
A number of gallery associations sponsor tours throughout the year. A great way to learn about the city’s art scene, tours, strolls and art walks highlight different eras that influenced the city. Stop by the Visitor Center to get maps for the unique Art-Deco walking tour, which familiarizes visitors with the unique buildings.
